Description
Knockout roses are an enduring beauty with their profuse blooms from Spring to late Fall in the south. This particular flower is actually pink, but shown with deepening hues to nearly red; also slight embossing and layered textures were added for a vintage - yet bright feel.

Fabulous close up photo of a rose, with great colors, light and shadows, processing and composition, Anita! F/L

Very beautiful - amazing layers of petals and nearly all still perfect. Great bold colors, too.

Anita: This is very, very beautiful. Incredible !! We planted 30 knockout rose plants 3 years ago and they bloom & bloom just like you wrote. Actually in the deep south where we live (further south than Ft. Payne) they will bloom all year if we continue to feed & care for them. Your image is OUTSTANDING !! The background showcases the rose in all its glory. We Love It !!
Anita Faye replied:
Thank you so much Bill and Deb! Yes, they are wonderful bloomers! Ours usually stop after the first few frosts, but I continue to throw spent coffee grounds, banana peels and such under them for their nourishment.
